Eponyms (names referring to a person) are consistently written as a single word, e.g. ‘Audouinmeeuw’, as prescribed by Dutch language rules, rather than ‘Audouins meeuw’. The Dutch names are also listed on the relevant species list B, together with sister West Germanic languages: la/de/nl/fy/af/lb.
